My experience and success in private business, thirty years of employment with the State of North Carolina in a leadership position, eight years on the Board of County Commissioners, my active role on local and regional boards, knowledge of issues pertaining to Western North Carolina, has prepared me for this opportunity as I seek your support.  If successful in my campaign to be your Representative I will take Western North Carolina’s values, concerns, and opinions to Raleigh.  I will enthusiastically seek constituent’s views on issues and work diligently in Raleigh if honored with your support to represent the 113th District. 

As your Representative, I will stay close to the citizens, forming partnerships, listening, and learning.  It is my desire to have a professional yet personal relationship with the citizens of the 113th State House District so that I may serve your needs while representing you in Raleigh.
